Ramy al-Jamaraat involves throwing 7 pebbles at the pillars representing Shaytan.

The Pillars

  1. Day 1 (10th Dhul Hijjah): Throw only at the Big Jamarah (Jamaraat al-Aqaba).
  2. Days 2-3 (11th-12th): Throw at all three (Small, Medium, Big).

The Bridge (5 Levels)

  • Ground: Usually most crowded.
  • Level 1-4: Accessible by escalators. Level 3 and 4 are usually the least crowded. Use them for safety.
  • Technique: Throw pebbles one by one. Do not throw sandals or bottles.

Best Times

  • Avoid: Late morning to Dhuhr (Peak heat and crowd).
  • Best: After Asr or at night (for relaxed stoning).
