1. Free Wheelchairs (Government)
- Location: Specific distribution points (usually near King Abdulaziz Gate or eastern plazas).
- Requirement: Valid ID/Passport.
- Self-Push: You must push it yourself (or have a family member push). You cannot take these outside the Haram plaza.
2. Paid Electric Scooters (Tawaf & Sa'i)
- Location: Mezzanine Floor (for Tawaf) and Sa'i floors.
- Cost:
- Single seater: ~50-100 SAR (varies by season/demand).
- Double seater: ~100-200 SAR.
- Pros: Independent, fast, no physical exertion.
- Cons: Paid service, allocated separate track.
3. Hired Pushers (Green Uniform)
- Official Pushers: Wear designated vests/uniforms.
- Cost: Fixed rates (approx. 70-100 SAR for Sa'i, more for Tawaf).
- Avoid: Illegal freelancers without uniforms. They may overcharge or abandon you.
Accessibility Routes
- Ramps: Available at Al-Marwa, Arqam, and newer extensions.
- Mataf: Wheelchairs are generally NOT allowed on the ground floor Mataf (around Kaaba) during peak times. They are directed to upper floors or the dedicated mezzanine ring.
