The Golden Rule
A woman on her period can do EVERYTHING in Hajj/Umrah EXCEPT: Tawaf and Prayer (Salah).
Scenarios
Period starts BEFORE Ihram (at Meeqat):
- Action: Shower, Enter Ihram, Make Niyyah. Go to Makkah.
- Wait: Stay in your hotel. Do NOT go to the Masjid (Haram).
- Clean: When period ends, Ghusl -> Go do Tawaf & Sa'i -> Cut hair.
Period starts AFTER Tawaf but BEFORE Sa'i:
- Action: You CAN do Sa'i! (Tahara is not a requirement for Sa'i, only for Tawaf). Complete Sa'i, cut hair, finish.
Delay Pills (Primolut N):
- Most scholars allow taking pills to delay the cycle for Umrah. Start taking them 3-5 days before travel. Consult a doctor.
