Masjid Al-Ijaba (Mosque of Response) is near Jannat al-Baqi.
The Hadith
The Prophet (PBUH) prayed here and asked Allah for three things:
- That his Ummah (Nation) would not be destroyed by famine. (Granted).
- That they would not be destroyed by drowning/floods. (Granted).
- That there would be no infighting/disunity among them. (Denied).
Significance
It reminds us of the challenge of unity in the Ummah. It is a quiet, recently renovated mosque perfect for reflection.
