Makkah Museum (Exhibition of the Two Holy Mosques)

Located near the Kiswah Factory in Umm Al-Jood. This museum holds the physical history of the Haram.

Key Artifacts

1. Old Kaaba Doors: Massive wooden/gold doors removed during renovations.
2. Wooden Pillars (65 AH): Pillars from the expansion of Abdullah ibn Zubayr (RA). Over 1300 years old.
3. The Maqam Ibrahim Box: The old metal casing that used to cover the footprint.

Visiting

• Permit: Usually requires a booking via Nusuk or a group arrangement.
