You cannot take large suitcases into the Haram.
1. Lockers (Automatic)
Located in the plazas outside the main extensions (e.g., near King Fahd Gate toilets, or Marwa side).
- Size: Small/Medium. Good for backpacks.
- Cost: Hourly rates.
2. "Amanat" Centers
There are manned luggage storage offices (look for signs saying "Amanat" or "Lockers").
- Location: Underground tunnels (Souq Al Sagheer) and near bus stations.
- Cost: ~20-30 SAR per piece.
3. Hotel Concierge
- Most hotels will hold your bags for free for 24 hours if you stayed with them. Tip the bellboy.
