You come out of prayer, and your shoes are gone. Either stolen or moved by cleaners.
Prevention (The Only Cure)
CARRY YOUR SHOES WITH YOU.
- Shoe Bag: Buy a string bag. Put your shoes in it. Tie it to your belt or carry it. Never leave expensive shoes on the racks outside.
If They Are Gone...
- Don't Panic.
- Look Nearby: Cleaners sometimes sweep piles of "messy" shoes into unmatched heaps nearby. Check the piles.
- Heat Danger: The marble outside the Haram (sunny areas) gets boiling hot. You cannot walk barefoot on it at 2 PM. You will burn your feet.
- The Fix:
- Walk in the shade/white marble (cool tiles).
- Find the nearest stall (usually many on the perimeter). Buy cheap plastic slides (10-15 SAR).
- Or ask a cleaner/guard for advice; sometimes they have a "Lost & Found" pile.
