Entering the Rawdah (the area between the Prophet's house and his pulpit) is a dream. "Between my house and my pulpit is a garden of the gardens of Paradise."
The Booking System (Nusuk)
You cannot enter without a valid permit QR code from the Nusuk App. Checkpoints are strict.
Slot Release Timings (The "Tricks")
Slots are not released randomly. They usually drop at specific times:
- Weekly: Every Friday, slots for the next week often open up.
- Daily Refresh: Slots often reappear right after every hour (e.g., 12:00, 1:00, 2:00) as cancellations are processed.
- Late Night: Checking between 1 AM - 3 AM KSA time often yields results.
Rules
- One Permit per 365 Days: Once you book a slot, you usually cannot book another for 1 year (rules subject to change by Ministry).
- Cancellation: If you can't go, CANCEL it. If you miss it, it still counts as "used" and blocks you for a year.
- Gender Timings:
- Men: Usually overnight and morning shifts.
- Women: Usually morning (post-Fajr) and late-night shifts.
Checklist for Entry
- Bring the phone with the app (Screenshots sometimes work, but live app is better).
- Arrive 30 minutes before your slot.
- Go to the designated gate (usually approx Gate 37 for men, Gate 25/29/32 area for women - check permit).
