The Edge of the World is a stunning geological wonder 90km from Riyadh.
Getting There
- Vehicle: You NEED a 4x4 (SUV). The last 15km is off-road, rocky, and soft sand. Sedans will get stuck.
- Tours: Best option. Many tour companies offer pickup, dinner, and guiding for 200-400 SAR.
The View
- Cliffs drop 300 meters straight down into an ancient ocean bed.
- Safety: There are NO fences. Do not get too close to the edge for a selfie. It is windy.
Best Time
- Sunset: The golden hour is spectacular.
- Winter: Nov-Feb is best. Summer is too hot (45°C).
